   Currently:   Married to Dr. Richard Klimmek – retired from veterinary
medicine in 1998 but working harder than ever with our son, Harley, crop
farming our 1,000 acre farm in New Richland.
 
3 Children:    1. Kevin – 32 yrs. – civil engineer for Ame’s Construction
                    2. Hardin – 27 yrs. – running the cropland
                    3. Kristin – 22 yrs. – just graduated with a degree in
physics engineering and a minor in math….currently showing some of our
quarter horses in Florida with our trainer.

August 2003

I’ve managed to stay married, help my husband start a veterinary business (we built Shakopee Vet Clinic) and raise 3 kids. For 4 years, I ran
our farrow to final hog operation in Prior Lake (1200 hogs) and worked
at the race track as a pari-mutuel clerk for 6 yrs. I’ve worked at
Mystic Lake now for 11 years and currently am a Pit Administrator in
Black Jack.
 
I’ve raised quarter horses for 30 years (yikes! that sounds like a long
time) and currently Kristin and I are showing horses nationally and
doing our share of  winning.
