I've been married
to Jan (Bauman) Lynne for 35 years and have two sons, Jason and Dave.
Jason works as an estimator and project manager with a small construction
firm in Chicago. Dave is a doctor of optometry, currently doing a
residency at the VA Hospital in Huntington, WVA. I met Jan in Kansas City
when I was life guarding during the summer. She graduated from Northern
Illinois University in 1989 and last worked as supervisor of a home-based
Head Start program.
We both retired two years ago and have been traveling in our RV,
January-May. We traveled in the Southwest and California last winter, and
Florida and Virginia this year. We will spend most of the summer at a
family cabin on Little Pine Lake near Perham, Minnesota.
I worked 35 years as a manager with Sears, Roebuck and Co. with two of
those years as an Army Corps of Engineers Officer. I'm a Viet Nam Veteran,
and Bronze Star Recipient. Most of my Sears work was in Fine Jewelry and
Cosmetics, with my last job being National Operations Manager, Accessories.
We bought some land in Prescott, AZ and plan to sell our Naperville home
and build a home in Prescott in 2005. We will spend some time in Prescott
next winter to talk to builders and see how we like the weather. |
