I live at the edge of the Pacific and have spent the past thirty years in the trenches of Hollywood. My specialty is pop culture. It’s been quite a ride – from the Oscars to the Olympics – from the Clinton Inaugural to Robin Williams and Princess Diana at the London Palladium.

In 1953, kids lined up at our front door at 8:00 A.M. Saturday mornings to see the Lone Ranger on our TV – the first in the neighborhood.

40th Reunion

August 2003

This spring I wrote ABC’s 50th anniversary celebration – a three-hour primetime special that included clips of the masked man I used to watch on a twelve-inch screen in black and white.

That felt full circle – as does this 40th reunion. What an amazing opportunity to come back home.
