- Retired in 2002 from a 37 year career as a flight attendant for

   Northwest Airlines
- Married for 30 years to Nick Schmit, retired from 3M Company
- No children
- Spend our winters in New Zealand
- Live in Hudson, Wisconsin the rest of the year
 
Teacher Memory: 10th grade English – Mr. Anderson (Curtis, I think)
 
He was such a special person. He was a wonderful teacher who had a keen
insight into his students. He cared; it showed and I remember him
fondly.
